My role in this project focused on collecting information and using insights from the data to come up with some of the tactics we suggested. I began my research by looking at databases that contained current statistics relevant to the category to inspire our approach for the primary research. I then reached out to current and previous Trunk Club employees and interviewed them to get their opinions on the service and how it could be improved. The interviews shed light to new ideas, including the Nordstrom after-hour events. During my interviews, I found that current Trunk Club Women employees are encouraged to host networking events to grow their customer base, but these outings are seldom officially sponsored by TCW. These interviews also gave the team a better idea of the shopping process and reinforced several themes we had found through our secondary research.
